We received an email this morning from a dear family friend, Eddy Calcines.
Since we no longer live in the Tampa Bay area, he wanted to share this
article in The St. Petersburg Times today, about his book, "Leaving Glorytown".
Please take a moment and read this article...I am SO proud of him!
For over 34 years Eddy had been a close friend of my family.
My parents and sister still get their hair cut by Eddy and we think of him as family.

"Leaving Glorytown" is a true story about living in Cuba before and during Castro.
What makes it unique is that it told through the eyes of a child~~Eddy's.
Your heart will be captured with the story and it will be hard to put down.
It is a story that needs to be shared with others.
Please do.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
~Theodore Roosevelt~
Thank you Eddy....
