- I have been married to my soul-mate and the love of my life for 29 years. We are the proud parents of 2 young adult sons, ages 22 and 20. We also have 2 furry babies ~ a 9 yr old corgi-mix dog and a little GIRL kitten. I was born and raised in Florida, with true Southern ancestory on both sides. I learned to crochet around the age of 12 by a dear family friend, June. Little did I know that that time spent in learning the very basic crochet stitches would bring so many moments of joy to my life in the years to come.

Lynn, this video is fantastic...it moved me to tears. The shooting at Fort Hood yesterday has left me almost numb...another terrorist attack on our beautiful men and women that are fighting for our safety, for our country...we have the terrorists, and we have our own government, trying to destroy us. We must speak out to Congress and say NO to their attempt to control the people of this nation, taking our liberties,and making us totally dependent on them. I loved seeing all those patriots waving the American flag...its almost unbelievable that we have an administration that has such disdain for our flag and our country that they would dismantle it...but they can only do it if we allow it...we are stronger than that, but it will take all of us...thanks for posting this...I've put a link to your post on my blog...praying that many will see it, and start calling!

Hi Lynn,
I feel such sadness at the potential harm coming. It seems this community is all wearing rose colored glasses. I am writing, fighting, and praying. I do know I am not alone in my concern, but will it be enough to keep us from becoming a socialistic nation. I will continue to fight for freedom, as I know you will.

My Congressman is NOT for the overhaul of Medical Insurance and fights to kill this bill!!!!!
I wrote and told all my friends to call wherever they are and say we are NOT for this!!! Tyranny???

I cried thru this...i've cried since Ft. Hood and I am just sick about it all. So heartsick!!
I emailed every one I could think of in offices about this health care farce. I hope it did even a tad bit of good.
I am totally in love with the flag on your sidebar. Would you mind if I used it, too? If you do, I am sure I can find something else but I do love your's...
