Our baby turns 20 today.... The photo above was taken a few moments after we brought Christopher Ryan home from the hospital. My mom was holding him and new big brother Michael was helping~~We cherish this photo so much...(Check out Michael's long eyelashes~~they are still like that too, at 22 years old.)
Chris has wanted a drum set for a long time. Michael has a friend who was selling a complete, hardly used set and at a GREAT price (key factor here), so guess what Chris is getting today? Michael's friend is bringing them over sometime today and they will set up in the basement. Chris had rearranged 'stuff' in the basement last week for his drums. There will.be.rules.with.playing.these.drums...Michael has been in a band before, where we had practice sessions here, etc and since Steven works out of the house now, there.will.be.rules. Chris' friend is coming over later and will spend the night and he plays guitar. So I am sure we will have music playing non-stop for a couple of days...
Oh yes, in addition to the birthday today, I am still getting stuff ready for the Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale that is tomorrow (8-12). I haven't participated in this for several years. The last time I did, I promised I would never do another Garage Sale ever again. Well....."never.say.never" seems to be a lesson I am re-learning alot lately.
Ahhhh, the art of multi-tasking, right ladies?

I said 3 yrs ago no more yard sales a we usually had 2 every year. I, too, am preparing for a yard sale ... for next week. I don't listen well to myself.
